Lindsay Bater BSc., F.C.Optom, M.Phil., Dip.C.L.P. qualified in 1979, received Master of Philosophy degree in 1982 and Diploma in contact lens practice (Dip.C.L.P) in 1986. He has worked both in hospital and private practice with special interests in contact lenses and more recently dyslexia. |

Louise Bater B.Sc. M.C.Optom qualified in 1981. She has worked in private practice and as a research assistant at University of Otago, New Zealand. Since setting up the practices in 1986 with her husband she has worked in Gorseinon and has built up the business to full time with a loyal patient base. |

Tony Stout BSc M.C.Optom ABDO Mr Stout qualified as a dispensing optician in 1980 and continued to work in private practice until 1993. He then studied for his optometry degree at Cardiff University qualifying in 1997. He joined Bater Opticians in 2001. He is based mainly at the Morriston branch and is involved in all aspects of Optometry including retinal photography ,contact lenses and low vision aids. |

Ian Godfrey BSc M.C.Optom. Graduated from The City University, London in 1982. Since which time he has worked in private practice. He joined Bater Opticians in 2002 and has worked mainly at the Singleton Hospital practice. He has built up a considerable expertise in a variety of eye problems including contact lenses and low vision aids. |

Len Powell (lens technician) Mr Powell manages the in-house laboratory in Morriston. He began his career in glazing in 1970 before joining Bater Opticians in 1986 at the start up of the business. With his vast experience and knowledge he is able to offer advice on the latest lens innovations and technology. |
